Our client in the Mississauga region, a top player in the Service industry is looking for a part-time AR/Credit Analyst to join their team for a 6-month contract. If you are looking for a challenge and want to work with one of the largest staffing firms in the world keep reading!

The chosen incumbent will be responsible:

-Resolving discrepancies and answering any queries
-Determine the creditworthiness of new customers and recommend credit limits
-Perform annual credit reviews on existing customers and recommend adjustments to credit limits when financial conditions change
-Complete all credit reviews in accordance with specific business unit scheduling requirements and ensure compliance with corporate directives
-Analyze financial statements, D&B reports, trade references, etc., to identify and monitor potential issues
-Contact customers to discuss questions that resulted from the analysis of financial statements.
-Approve orders for release
-Prepare monthly and annual reports
-Support business initiatives by interacting with the sales organization and recommend alternative risk-mitigating options
-Focus on process improvement to increase productivity and operating efficiencies for the benefit of internal and external customers

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

-Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
-3+ years of AR/Credit experience managing a large number of account
-3+ years of commercial credit experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
-3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables, charts, and graphs)
-Strong understanding of accounting for AR adjustments, credits, offsets, and other reconciling items
-Outstanding organization, analytical and problem-solving skills
