Our client located in North York is currently looking for a payroll administrator to join their team on a part-time (3 day/week basis), work from home for 8 months.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:
Review Payroll input for accuracy and compliance
Data entry for Semi-Monthly payroll input: i.e. new hire adjustments, terminations, rehires, deductions etc.
Calculate and prepare manual cheques and process into the payroll system
Prepare Record of Employment forms
Completion of company forms on terminations, leaves and changes to benefit premiums
Provide direction for contacting offices regarding Labour Standards and Payroll Legislation
Year-End Administration, including accuracy and distribution of T4’s

The candidate must possess the following:
Post secondary education ideally in Accounting
5 years Payroll experience, minimum 2 years with Ceridian Payflex system
Experience with Crystal reporting from Ceridian
Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook
Good understanding of GL accounts and payroll-related reconciliations
Strong independent worker and team player
Peoplesoft HR/Benefits would be an asset(training will be provided)
SAP time and attendance would be an asset (training will be provided)
