Human Resources Business Partner
Permanent position

The Bilingual Manager, People and Culture Business Partner/Generalist will be aligned with key business groups and ensure seamless design, delivery and execution.

This role will have a dual accountability:

To provide a full range of People an Culture services to our internal business stakeholders in support of our strategic plan:

To provide internal management consulting to improve employee engagement, build leadership and organizational capabilities, and to design Human Capital Processes and Tools that ultimately enable improved execution of business strategy and the development of a high-performance business culture.

Key Responsibilities

· Develops and maintains effective relationships with key stakeholders within our client groups, to identify and respond to current and future people related requirements and to drive employee engagement upwards.

· Manages employee relations issues, both individual cases and the larger scale employee relations aspects of a change management program

· Serves as a trusted advisor to business leaders and employees to our regions (New Brunswick, Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia) while guiding the execution of People and Culture programs, processes, strategic initiatives and communications (including employee engagement).

· Partners with management to investigate and solve business issues; bringing forward insights and information with a focus on people. Uses analytics and qualitative/quantitative information, provides context and makes recommendations, which support company objectives.

· Proactively interprets and advises on People and Culture policies to assist our business stakeholders in reaching solutions and managing associated risk

· Partners closely with People and Culture in areas of Compensation and Benefits, Payroll and Talent Acquisition,

· Designs, introduces, implements and supports a range of programs and services including employee engagement/relations, talent acquisition, performance management, discipline, promotion, learning and development, workforce planning and succession planning to various business groups in support of the strategic plan. Stays current on leading a broad range of business trends in order to deliver practical and insightful thought leadership, including the development and personal growth of our people, with the objective of enabling our people to excel

· Shares knowledge and best practices with the broader People and Culture team to sustain alignment with the business

· Contributes to the P and C budget planning process. Supports in other areas of P and C as needed

Qualifications & Experience

Education & Certifications

· Graduate degree required

· HR Designation preferred

Skills & Experience

· More than 7 years and up to 10 years in Human Resources

Additional Skills:

· Fluently written/verbal in both French and English

· Ability to travel (30-35%), mandatory requirement travel to Toronto, Moncton, & Richmond

· Vendor Management

· Leadership skills;

· Highly advanced analytical thinking skills;

· Organizational Transformation experience

· Change management

· People management.

· Supported Operations department is an asset
