Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities and Tasks:
Provides excellent customer service and ensures an ongoing commitment to the needs of the customer and their vehicles.
Manages parts inventory.
Leads and trains parts/service staff to provide the best service possible.
Directs and/or guides the customer in the showroom.
Responds to and handles customer inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely manner both over the phone and in person.
Works with Sales & Marketing team to ensure the flow of inventory.
Keeps up to date on in-store promotions, in-store deals, specials, and product locations.
Sources and orders parts for customers through authorized suppliers.
Follows established procedures regarding the ordering and sale of parts and providing clear repair recommendations to service customers.
Communicates with vendors regarding proper returns, and warranties as required.
Stocks shelves and merchandises display areas using modules and planograms as guidelines.
Maintains inventory accuracy and identifies/reports low stock levels to order management.
Qualifications
Parts ticket/diploma would be an asset.
Demonstrated automotive/powersports knowledge and interest.
Basic math and computer skills.
Good working knowledge of automotive/powersports parts lookup system and service department procedures.
Experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
Highly approachable. You are a customer-oriented individual who thrives on offering exceptional service to customers.
Strong communication skills, ability to listen carefully and give precise instructions.
The ability to work in a team environment that provides assistance and support to co-workers to achieve common goals.
The ability to multitask, adapt, and cope with challenging and changing situations.
