Payroll Administrator in Burlington

Are you looking for an amazing new opportunity in Payroll? Are you looking for a flexible environment? Do you have experience with ADP and would like to work within the Burlington area?

We are currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator position within the Burlington area. This is a full-time opportunity in which the successful candidate will be working for a fun, medium-size company. A normal day within this position would include accurate and timely payroll entry and processes for bi-weekly payroll with ADP.

This Canadian company within the Transportation industry offers a flexible work schedule, a friendly team working environment, and is looking for someone to join the team ASAP. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience within a payroll position, be very accurate and organized, and have great communication skills.

Job Duties

- Enter and process bi-weekly payroll for hourly, salary, and contract staff
- Payroll for 300-350 employees across Canada (ON, NF, QC)
- Benefits administration – reconciling invoices to carriers
- Complete ROEs, year-end reconciliations, T4 filing, Government remittances, WSIB, RRSP
- Use Excel and ADP to complete accurate timecard entry and processing
- Communicating with internal managers and employees to ensure accurate time entries
- Ensuring crew is paid accurately in regards to day rates, time off
- Reconciling time cards
- Assisting HR and Finance departments with other tasks as needed

- Flexible hours – core hours of 8:30-5:00 pm, but depends on deadlines
- $50,000 - $60,000
- Monday – Friday

- Ability to interact with multiple teams within the company
- Business casual dress code

- 3+ years of experience within Payroll Administration
- PCP Designation is an asset (or equivalent experience)
- Experience working with ADP is an asset
- Must have a high attention to detail and be very organized and accurate
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
