Are you a payroll and benefits clerk looking to take your career to the next level?

Our client is looking for an experienced professional to join their accounting team on a temp-perm basis. This fantastic opportunity is with one of our established clients and is located Downtown Toronto. Our client is seeking a detail oriented professional with the ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
o Full payroll cycle for hourly and salaried employees in a timely manner
o Analyzing and reconciliation of payroll input and output per policies and procedures
o Processing and verifying payroll transactions (overtime, vacation pay, statutory holidays, payroll deductions and
o Processing documentation for employee tax purposes (T4)
o Processing year-end reports as needed
o Corresponding with employees, supervisors and management on all payroll and EI inquiries
o Calculating and prepare pay adjustments, termination pays or special payments in compliance with company and legislated policy
o All other related duties as required

o Minimum of 2+ years’ working experience in professional services
o Professional working experience processing payroll for a mid to large number of employees
o Exposure to US and Canadian payroll is an asset
o Experience with Ceridian and or Dayforce strongly preferred
o PCP Designation is considered an asset
o Thorough knowledge of payroll-related legislations
o Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
