Reporting to the Payroll Lead, the payroll clerk will be supporting the payroll processing for multiple provinces - union and non-union, setting up new hires, and terminations, and processing ROEs and T4s. This is a great opportunity for someone with 2+ years in payroll to advance their knowledge and payroll career. This position offers a 70 (office)/30(home) hybrid office, once training is complete.

Responsibilities
- Payroll processing for multiple payroll runs - weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly for hourly, salary, and commission employees
-Multi- provincial payrolls for union and non-union - 250+ employees
-Timesheet entry and processing for hourly workers,
-Remittances and deductions for CRA and government entities
-New hire set up - including benefits administration, and terminations
-Processing ROEs, T'4s, and RRSP contributions

Qualifications
-2+ years of payroll processing for 100+ employees
- PCP or enrollment is an asset
- In-house payroll experience vs 3rd party
-In-house payroll system experience such as Avanti, UKG/Ultipro, Bamboo
