Payroll Specialist

• Coordinates and processes payroll in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring the integrity of payroll data
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies/errors and escalate for resolution where appropriate
• System Administration including configuration, maintenance, and setups.
• Support and/or analyze associate payment when required
• Coordinate and provide subject matter expertise to operations coordinators to ensure accurate processing of employee time for payroll processing.
• Maintain ongoing email and telephone support for inbound/outbound administrator requests.
• Assist and support business partners (HR, Benefits, Finances and Operations personnel) with weekly reconciliations and reports.
• Ensures the processing and completion of all payroll data is compliant with the CBAs, provinces legislation, and different requirements.
• Respond to and resolve payroll and time-related inquiries or concerns as required
• Work closely with the team to ensure defects are correctly identified, fixed and incorporated into solutions

• Completion of PCP or CPM designation
• 3+ years of full-cycle processing experience
• Multi-provincial payroll experience
• Strong technical skills, including Excel and ERP
• Strong written and verbal communication
