Located in the Etobicoke area, this is a permanent full-time opportunity with a full benefits package and vacation allotment from the first day. You will work alongside the HR team and report to the manager of Human Resources. This is a casual work environment with a small team and the opportunity to work independently.

Responsibilities
Process Canadian and US payrolls for hourly and salaried employees
Responsible & fully accountable for the payroll & audit function of multiple clients
Balance respective payrolls based on year-end calendar and remit all Third Party Remittances by defined due dates, complete all Year End balancing, filing & respective reporting
Calculate and prepare pay adjustments, overtime, termination pays or other special payments in compliance with company and legislated policies
Balance year-end salary costs to T4/W2 summary and distribute T4/W2 slips for all employees
Consult with all levels of employees providing guidance and assistance on their payroll issues
Respond to inquiries from Canada Revenue Agency, Service Canada, etc
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years related experience working with payroll and employee benefit
Working knowledge of UKG
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience dealing with confidential and sensitive information
Team player with a strong customer service orientation
