Our client is currently looking for a payroll specialist to join their team in Montreal, near Place-des-Arts metro station.

Responsibilities
- Complete payroll cycle for 300 ee, union and non-union employees
- Open and close employee files.
- Act as resource person for employees and management.
- Calculate employee sick time based on status;
- Verifies payroll after processing and makes corrections for cancelled checks, issued checks and stop payments;
- Requests payments for taxes, alimony, wage garnishments, union dues and group insurance.
Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years' experience in the payroll field
- Knowledge of SAP (an asset)
- Canadian Payroll Association member (an asset)
- Knowledge of Excel
- Bilingualism
