The payroll specialist will be responsible for the pay of 500 employees across multiple entities, and multiple provinces, notably Quebec, Ontario and British Columbia. The payroll specialist must be familiar with the application of benefits, and must also be familiar with the month end and year end processes.

Manage the employee benefits
Participate in month end and year end closing of the accounting cycle for payroll
Calculate, update and track various banks (vacation, sick, accumulated time)
Analyze hours worked, data, adjustments, exemptions and transfers.
