I have a fantastic opportunity at a reputable medium sized Law Firm based in North York. This company is dynamic, innovative and prides itself on their great working culture and strong work ethic. If you are driven and passionate Payroll Specialist looking to make a move into a high performing, multi-cultural finance team then you could be the fit that we are looking for.

As the Payroll Specialist your duties will be:

• Preparation, data entry, verification and processing of a semi-monthly payroll cycle
• Managing new hire setup, salary changes, terminations and personal information changes.
• Investigate and resolve any payroll issues
• Preparation of monthly payroll journal entries
• Preparation of all monthly payroll related account reconciliations
• Reconciliation of benefits and pension remittance.
• Preparation of monthly pension and benefits cheques
• Maintaining all employee payroll files
• Assist with creating and extracting reports


$60K – $65K

Degree or Diploma in Accounting or Business
PCP designation for at least 2 years
Advance knowledge of Excel
Posses strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to multitask and work solely
Meet strict deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
