As a prominent player in Montreal's hotel industry, our client's regional accounting office is actively in search of a Payroll Manager to oversee payroll operations for multiple properties within the group.
Reporting to the Regional Controller, this position entails the comprehensive management of the payroll workflow and the administration of employee benefit programs.

Responsibilities
Perform the bi-weekly payroll cycle (preparation, data entry, verification, production);
Follow-up on various files (vacation and other leave, RRSPs, insurance, wage garnishments, work permits);
Issue Records of Employment;
Create and update employee files (physical files and HRIS);
Enroll employees in group insurance and RRSPs;
Calculate benefits and ensure administrative follow-up of CNESST files;
Draft various documents such as employment confirmation letters;
Respond to requests and questions regarding payroll and benefits from managers, employees and external organizations.
Qualifications
College or technical diploma in a relevant field an asset;
At least one (2) year's experience in a similar position;
Knowledge of Ceridian's Dayforce payroll system, Workday, ADP or other similar payroll software an asset;
Good Microsoft Office skills;
Customer service skills;
Organizational skills and autonomy;
Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English.
