job description

The CEO of a mid-sized Canadian based IT-Services provider is looking for a right hand to provide A to Z personal and professional support both within the office and outside of regular working hours. In a professional setting, the successful candidate will be responsible for completing a broad variety of administrative tasks for the CEO, managing his calendar and booking travel plans, preparing correspondence on his behalf, and acting as a “gatekeeper” and “gateway” to his time and office. In a personal setting, responsibilities will include providing hospitality support for events, ad hoc support to the CEOs family as needed and supporting home operations. In both capacities, driving responsibilities will be required as well. A company vehicle will be provided.

This is an extremely hands-on, personal and involved role, taking a layer of stress and responsibility off of the executive’s plate. The personality fit in this position is the most important, and we are hoping to engage with individuals with a variety of strengths, interests, and backgrounds.

• Convenient office location near Yonge and Bloor
• Great mentorship opportunity, working closely with and as an extension of the CEO, with large potential for growth and advancement
• Company vehicle provided for driving responsibilities of the role
• Opportunity to act autonomously in governing the time and efforts of the executive

Qualified candidates MUST have the following:

• Valid Ontario driver’s license with a good driving record (Driving Abstract will be required)
• Accuracy, attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills
• Inclination for process and initiatives
• Willingness to be flexible outside of traditional working hours as an extension of the executive
• Discretion and trustworthiness
• Strong preference for candidates with a background/experience in Hospitality or Business
• Tolerance for ambiguity, changing work priorities and deadlines, and a willingness to take on responsibilities and to prioritize own work on multiple projects

If you are a professional, reliable, and outgoing candidate looking for a hands-on role, please do not hesitate to apply. Please note that only qualified candidates will be contacted for next steps.
