A national pharmacy in Burlington is looking for Pharmacy Assistants to join their team during their busy season. In this role, you will have the chance to:
- gain non-retail pharmacy experience
- work steady hours, approximately 8 am-4 pm weekdays (no weekends or rotating shifts!)

This contract starts as soon as possible and will run for one to two months (dependent upon business needs) - if you do well in the role, there is a strong likelihood your contract will be extended.
This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented and is keen on working in a non-patient-facing role. We are looking for an individual who lives in or can easily commute to the Burlington area.

Responsibilities
What YOU will be doing as a Pharmacy Assistant:
- Picking and labelling medications for pharmacy technicians
- Communicating in-person and over the phone with pharmacy staff members
- Prepare and print shipping waybills, ensuring 100% accuracy of order and shipment information
- Filling prescriptions in an office environment
- Enter prescriptions into Kroll software
Qualifications
What YOU bring to the role of Pharmacy Assistant:
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in pharmacy - community pharmacy and central fill experience is welcome!
- Strong interest in learning all there is know about specialty pharmacy!
- Excellent attention to detail, able to spot and fix errors
- Fast learner, comfortable with on-the-job training
- Great communications skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a large team
- Comfortable walking and being on your feet for much of the day
- Able to lift up to 10lbs
