Are you a Pharmacy Assistant looking for an opportunity to work in a unique pharmacy setting where you can leverage your retail experience and learn new skills? This pharmacy supports long-term care pharmacy service delivery as well as community patients. Are you looking to join a team in an exciting, fast-paced environment with a focus on patient service? The Randstad Healthcare team is currently supporting the search for full-time, permanent Pharmacy Assistants to work in dispensing/filling-focused roles at a well-established corporate pharmacy in downtown Vancouver. The offers full-time hours (40 scheduled hours per week and 8-hour shifts). The pharmacy is open Monday through Sunday from 6:30 am - 6:30 pm (weekends are shared) - 8-hour shifts occur within that range and overtime may be available for those able to help beyond an 8-hour shift (overtime is paid in accordance with Employment Standards. The schedule is available at least 2 weeks in advance. Open availability between open hours of the pharmacy is required.

    Responsibilities

    - Set up and operation of pharmacy technology and continuous learning to develop new skills to support various stations within the pharmacy

    Qualifications
    - Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant in any setting (or completion of a Pharmacy Assistant diploma from a College Program)
    - Strong attention to detail
    - Positive, can-do attitude - service-oriented attitude
    - Ability to work both independently and as part of a large team
    - Company policies regarding vaccination and PPE must be complied with
