Responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance with College of Pharmacy operations requirements
- Ensuring service excellence in pharmacy service delivery and patient care
- Managing various supervisors/leads and ensuring the pharmacy staff are successful in meeting operational goals
- Working alongside the team as required to support operations and understand areas for process optimization
- Supporting business planning and plan implementation at the pharmacy level and ensuring financial goals are met
- Completing administrative duties relating to tracking and reporting on pharmacy services provided
- Working collaboratively with nursing and clinical staff, patient support teams and distribution groups to ensure service excellence, and ensuring patient care and safety are optimized
- Supporting special projects to increase new business opportunities for the pharmacy
- Developing and managing relationships to support the business and maintain strong morale within the team
- Coordinating the overall operation and daily activities in collaboration with other leaders in the organization
Qualifications
- A valid Pharmacist license in Ontario and good standing with the College of Pharmacy (OCP) is required
- Prior leadership experience or experience in the non-retail sector is preferred but they are open to considering less experienced candidates who demonstrate strong leadership potential
- The ideal candidate has strong experience in provision of clinical services
- Operations know-how and experience including compliance, people, process, financials and business development/growth, KPI measurement and ensuring standards are met and implemented
- Excellent communication skills & collaborative abilities are a must
- Strong organizational, time management, multi-tasking and interpersonal skills
- Experience using Kroll software is an asset
