Piping Superintendent - Site base FIFO rotation - Immediate Contractor requirement
We are seeking to fill multiple roles within a large energy project in BC.

This position requires previous extensive working knowledge and background of union environment piping work, the ability to appreciate and resolve complex situations with assistance, and see actions as a series of steps.
You will be fully supported as you continue to build your skills, support a schedule driven project where the emphasis will be on people, client interface, development, and management.
• Successfully managed piping activities on projects, fully knowledgeable and experienced in the means, processes and methods needed to successfully construct and install aboveground piping systems regardless of metallurgy, size, and wall thickness.
• Successfully supervised and managed a minimum of 100 craft personnel.
• Excellent skills in interpersonal relations, conflict resolution
• Demonstrated strong decision making, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Excellent skills in interpersonal relations, conflict resolution
• Intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, and electronic presentation programs
• Large diameter piping (24” – 84”) specifically stainless (304 / 316)
• Mechanical dam use for stainless purge isolation
• Cryogenic / cold service piping
• Compressor piping installation, pipe strains
• Pneumatic testing
Rotations within BC, AB and SK will be 14/7, other provinces will be 20/8 rotation.
