    Your challenge!

    This is a perfect opportunity for student graduating in 2022 or with limited experience. As part of our mentorship program, you will be paired with the existing Plant Controller and undergo a 18 months to 24months mentoring period where you will be exposed to various tasks under the responsibility of the current Plant Controller. When the mentoring period is completed and you have gained the necessary knowledge, you will be relocating to the facility requiring a new Plant Controller within Cascades in the USA. You will perform tasks related to general accounting and will be involved in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements.

    Your responsibilities
    • Prepare and execute month-end and quarter-end processes
    • Actively participate in the preparation and analysis of financial results and balance sheets
    • Prepare financial statements
    • Contribute to the preparation of the budget and forecasts and ensure their follow-up
    • Ensure the reliability and completeness of the financial information produced
    • Develop management and decision-making tools
    • Participate in various special projects
    Your background and strengths
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
    • Some experience in an accounting/ finance role will be considered an asset
    • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
    • Experience using SAP is an asset
    • Proactive and coachable
    • Demonstrate analytical and organizational skills
    • Demonstrate a great rigor and attention to details
    • Ability to work with deadlines and a changing environment
