As a Plant Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer, you will collaborate with the Plant Manager on daily activities and continuous improvement initiatives. Both on existing processes and those you will develop.

Responsibilities
As a Plant Engineer/Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for:
* Design and research new equipment related to product development projects;
* Developing manual tools;
* Review and/or create manufacturing work instructions;
* Process audits on manufacturing and safety processes;
* Design new equipment or tools;
* Develop process flows and production layouts;
* Prepare projects related to tooling and process development;
* Analyze costs;
* Create and maintain all work instructions for production;
* Ensure safe operations and production standards (process and equipment changes)
* Prepare manufacturing bulletins and manufacturing drawings;
* Perform, facilitate and manage production improvement events, root cause analysis and corrective action reports (may include VSM);
* Perform production line flow balancing (Takt time);
* Perform material changes (BOM) and standard times in Epicor system
* Reject deliveries due to quality and/or assembly standards.
Qualifications
You will need to have the following luggage:
* Bilingual - your supervisor will be English speaking
* At least 3 years of relevant education and experience
* Leadership and knowledge of mechanical design
* Software: Pack Office, Autocad, Ms Project/Office
* Assets: Solidworks/Inventor
* Enjoy problem solving
* Ability to adapt to changing tasks and responsibilities
