job description

As PLC Programmer, you will be troubleshooting PLC, and HMI systems, motion control, and writing new programs (including with SCADA). Please note that we are looking for an experienced programmer that is able to go online with PLANT controllers (ControlLogix, networks, SCADA systems (Factory Talk View, Wonderware), and PC configuration/recovery/cloning/setup.


Duties include but are not limited to:

5-10 years APPLICABLE experience in PLC programming (Rockwell Software)
Strong organizational and planning skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
PLC/HMI (Siemens, Rockwell Automation, Omron, and Schneider) programming and modifications of programs and devices
Background in Rockwell Software Historian is an asset
SCADA (RSView32, FTV Studio (ME/SE), Wonderware would be an asset)
Suggest, design and upgrade existing equipment controls
Develop, create and keep current all electrical documentation.
Ethernet I/O troubleshooting and setup
Customer service calls (troubleshooting)
Organizing, ordering & arranging materials for site installations
Follow and comply with all safety standards including LOTO
