Responsibilities
Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems using Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Automation Direct platforms.
Collaborate with engineering teams to understand industrial designs and drawings, ensuring accurate implementation of control logic.
Perform system integration, testing, and commissioning of PLC-based automation systems.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
Participate in on-site visits to client locations in Guelph, Ontario, and Buffalo, NY, for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting purposes.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during system programming and integration.
Provide technical support to internal teams and clients, offering effective solutions to technical challenges.
Document programming changes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
Stay updated with the latest developments in PLC programming and industrial automation technologies.
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in PLC programming and industrial automation.
Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Automation Direct PLC systems.
Strong ability to read and interpret industrial designs and drawings accurately.
Hands-on experience with system integration, testing, and commissioning.
Willingness and ability to travel between Guelph, Ontario, and Buffalo, NY, for on-site visits (valid passport required for cross-border travel).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of safety protocols and quality standards in industrial automation.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
