As a Program Manager with our client, you’ll receive:

Responsibilities
• Manage communication and oversee processes related to financial reviews, reporting, steering committees, KPIs etc.
• Manage rollup of +$100M portfolio including risks, financials, and key decisions in collaboration with GTS leadership
• Collaborate with Portfolio Managers to establish and implement the processes and governance needed to achieve and sustain operational excellence in portfolio management
• Support peers with actions around portfolio and operations transformation (such as delivery frameworks and tools, process improvement etc.)
• Support with change management and rollout of the SPM tool for each portfolio – Oversee development of rollout plan for each portfolio and over all rollout timeline for GTS
o Support change team as needed with change management and rollout activities
o Send weekly program update for GTS portfolio managers
• Support business and technology leadership with updating strategy, executive presentations, roadmaps, KPIs, prioritizing budget across work-streams and communicating key deliverables to working teams
• Ensure team members have the tools, resources, and information they need to perform their jobs effectively and remove barriers to allow team to be as efficient as possible
• Develops strong working partnerships with technology leaders to effectively achieve objectives for
the portfolio
• Develop strong working relationships with key internal corporate partners including Finance,
People & Culture, Facilities, Procurement, and Legal
• Champion project management best practices and processes
• Provide strategic guidance and thought leadership on program/project management
• Uses appropriate strategies and actions to overcome resistance to change and capitalize on forces in support of change
Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years working in technology or a related field
• 5-7+ years in program/portfolio management role and/or 3-5+ years consulting or executive management role
• Proven track record of governing program within related field and ability to lead large scale, cross-functional, global initiatives
• Ability to influence and manage conversations and meetings across the organization at multiple levels, particularity around strategic issues to bring structure to ambiguous environments
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and operating under tight time constraints with a strong sense of urgency
• Project Management Professional (PMP) nice to have
• Change Management Certification (PROSCI) nice to have
• Process Improvement Certification (Lean Six Sigma) nice to have
• Ability to translate ideas into clear, high impact communications to executives, managers, employees and business partners
• Ability to excel in an ambiguous environment
• Demonstrated ability to function in a fast-paced, multi-program environment with changing priorities
• Ability to anticipate potential problems and proactively troubleshoot to resolve issues
• Exceptional leadership skills including the ability to influence and gain consensus in the absence of direct authority and beyond the scope of the position
• Proven results working with global and remote teams across different time zones
