Power BI developer

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and design custom solutions to meet those needs
• Develop and maintain data models, data structures, and metadata for reporting and analysis
• Analyze data to identify trends and patterns, then present your findings in a way that is easy to understand and act upon
• Use your T-SQL skills to extract and manipulate data to support data analysis and reporting
• Write complex MDX queries to support data analysis and reporting in OLAP cubes
• Build and maintain a data warehouse that is optimized for data storage and retrieval
• Develop and maintain documentation to support ongoing data analysis and reporting efforts
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in BI and recommend solutions to improve the organization's BI capabilities.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in a Power BI/Tableau Developer, or similar data-related role, developing sophisticated solutions and uncovering actionable insights
• Strong experience with Tableau and Power BI
• Strong expertise with Excel, VBA, SSIS, SSRS, T-SQL, Pandas, Python, MDX, OLAP, and Data Warehousing
• Excellent SQL skills and experience with writing and troubleshooting complex T-SQL queries, views, and stored procedures
• Experience with ETL processes using SSIS and Python.
• Experience with data modeling, data structures, and metadata management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice to Have:
• Practical knowledge of web development using Django or comparable stacks
• Experience developing AI/ML solutions using TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn etc.
• Agile delivery methodology, DevOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment concepts and methods
