    Hiring individuals with a background in Turret Press and TRUMPF Machines in Port Coquitlam, BC.! ALL SHIFT TIME AVAILABLE

    The position involves using Finn Power Turret Punch Presses to produce parts and we are offering an extremely high pay compensation for those with experience on this type of machine! In this role you would be using the punching machine to cut sheets of metal and parts. You should have a basic understanding of troubleshooting these machines and at least 3+ years of experience. We ask that the qualified candidate is able to read blueprints and drawings and identify various types of metal characteristics upon acceptance of this role.     Time: DAYS/ AFTERNOONS OR NIGHTS OFFERED
    Area: Port Coquitlam, BC
    Starting at: $25-27.00 an hour
    We offer Premiums for the Afternoon Shift and the Night shift (afternoon and night shift premiums offered!!)
    Looking for candidate who can start right away
    *Location is Transit Accessible for Day Shift only*

    Responsibilities
    • Setting up of tooling and presses, and performing first-off inspections on production jobs
    • Operate punch presses efficiently and within their design limitations
    • Inspect and verify parts to ensure they meet all requirements
    • Create ECRs and identify opportunities for improvement
    • Operate forklift in a safe and professional manner
    • Handle incoming and outgoing parts safely and with care to avoid damage or injury
    • Understand and perform tasks according to the Punching Work Center Process
    • Reviewing and maintaining the condition of tooling on a regular basis

    Qualifications
    • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and move consistently throughout the day
    • Have your own mode of transportation for afternoon and night shifts
    • Can adhere to Covid Vaccine Mandate
    • You are Punctual and Reliable when it comes to work
    • Have forklift experience (no certification required)
    • Have at least 3-5 years of experience with punch press machines
    • You live in the Port Coquitlam, BC area
