Our client, is currently looking for a Process Engineer with a minimum of 5 years experience preferably at an operation level. The candidate will be responsible for participating in and leading projects focused on optimization of mineral processing plants across the globe. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of mineral processing operations, a passion for technology, very comfortable with computers and strong analytical abilities. As this role requires 50%-80% travel, those applying should enjoy traveling and be excited about working on different sites with different minerals.


Process Optimization leveraging companies Advanced Systems Tool Kit.

Producing technical documentation (e.g. reports, manuals, specifications, drawings).

Conducting feasibility studies (with focus on instrumentation and control, operations optimisation).

Data analysis.

Participating in R&D initiatives for developing innovative solutions for the mineral processing industry.

Process modeling and simulation.

Traveling to mineral processing sites across the world (30-40% travel is typical)


An Engineering Degree in Chemical, Metallurgical or Mining Engineering is preferred


5 - 10 years experience in Mineral processing (preferably at an operation)

Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of Mineral Processing unit operations (crushing, grinding, sizing, flotation, de watering and tailings management).

Very comfortable with computers and technology.

Self driven, organised and action oriented.

Creative problem solver.

The candidate considers themselves to be a good teacher.
