•Location: Burlington, ON
•Salary: $85,000-$95,000

In this role you will have an impact on…

• Supporting the assembly process
• Create plant build instructions, bill of materials, and shop routing
• Work closely with procurement to identify assembly components
• Develop manufacturing processes for new products and improve processes for existing products
• Prepare standard work instructions in 2D AutoCAD drawings, and 3D modelling using SolidWorks.
• Provide technical advice as directed.
• Design and draft fixtures for product, inspection and assembly


You’re an ideal candidate for this role because you bring…

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering is ideal
• 5+ years’ relevant experience in a similar role
• Manufacturing experience in Automotive or Aerospace is an asset
• Knowledge of blueprint/technical drawings
• Working knowledge of weld assemblies and fixture and gauges
• Ability to execute project plans to meet program cost
• Strong business acumen with a knowledge of trends and what is happening within the market
• Ability to handle multiple projects at a time
• Agile and comfortable adjusting to ever changing priorities
• Ability to deliver results and meet deadlines
• Resourceful and able to think through a problem and knows where to find the answers
• Excellent organizational and workload prioritizing skills.
• Independent and thoughtful decision maker
