    Reporting to the Production Manager, the Process Lead is responsible for all outcomes associated with the techniques, processes and systems used in an area. The Process Lead provides support to the Asset Owner and Reliability Lead in the improvement and sustainability of standardized equipment processes as well as Health and Safety activities

    Individual responsibilities

    • Define standard processes and tools to handle defects (DH) and ensures that processes are executed properly
    • Identify and implement technical operations opportunities
    • Track breakdowns, assess root causes, and implement countermeasures
    • Define, establish, and uphold standard processes and tools to manage centerlines
    • Support the team in the implementation and continuous improvement of their respective Daily Management System (DMS) elements
    • Ensure the processes are optimized and executed according to defined standards, develop Standard Operating Procedures
    • Develop and implement operational strategies and key performance indicators
    • Continuously improves processes to maximize the full utilization of machines
    • Coach team/train members in best practices in terms of equipment and procedures
    • Collect and analyzes data to determine opportunities
    • Collaborate with other Process Leads to share best practices for standardized processes
    • When variances are detected, create and execute an action plan to mitigate impact
    • Participate/lead Root Cause Analysis related to process failures
    • Participate in the Line Centric Team (LCT) meetings and provide data analysis and corrective actions for the team on identified issues in his/her line
    • Support divisional and corporate objectives including health & safety, productivity, continuous improvement, innovation, quality, waste and 5S

    Experiences and strengths

    • Diploma/College Engineering, High School with 3-5 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment
    • Prior supervisory experience, is a Process Lead or similar role
    • Ability to collaborate with others, listen and communicate effectively
    • Ability to plan and organize activities to meet organizational objectives
    • Ability to effectively lead and coach a team
    • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong Time Management and Organizational Skills
    • Demonstrate ability to overcome ambiguous and complex situations
    • Strong organization, communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
    • Knowledge of the manufacturing tools and equipment
    • Experience and understanding of Lean production System Principles is an asset
    • Proficient use of various computer programs (SAP, MS Office)
    • Flexible to work long hours as required to meet project deadlines and production needs
