As a Procurement Analyst, the incumbent will be responsible for various administrative support, monitoring reports to
assist review of parts through the complete materials management cycle for both maintenance and projects, assisting
various areas of Inventory Management as required (Inventory, Surplus, QC), providing status updates and reporting to
the Inventory Supervisor.

The Analyst is responsible for, as required:

• Forecasting future needs and planning inventory levels by establishing a safety stock level on a part by part

• Co-ordinating with user departments, Divisional Stores Planner / Supervisor, warehouse supervisors, Buyers
and Expeditors to ensure proper flow of inventory from date of order to receipt into warehouse to meet service.

• Sound knowledge of business administration and materials management principals, methods and practices.

• Must be proficient in the use of a personal computer and related software applications and systems relevant to
the work (i.e. spreadsheets, word processing, Outlook, IFS or similar ERP system, etc.).

• Must possess well-developed analytical and problem solving skills; strong interpersonal and organizational
skills and effective oral communication and report writing skills.

• Processing and monitoring obsolete and slow moving inventory.

• Processing inventory requests and putting data into IFS.

• Utilizing various computer applications and systems.

• Participating in inventory meetings as needed.

• Participating in developing Crystal reports.

• Assisting the Inventory Analysts and Surplus Administrator as required.

• Working knowledge of inventory management systems would be an asset
