Preparing and issuing a purchase order to the successful company • Processing amendments to standard purchase orders • Coordinating all communication with bidders from tender issue through to contract award and providing responses to bidders as required • Keeping up to date with traffic and transportation services as it relates to procuremen

Responsibilities
Negotiating pricing with single source vendors to reduce cost of goods purchased • Taking a scheduled training program to develop general knowledge of the practices and
procedures for all areas of the Procurement and Category Management Department and its main
users • Responsible for treating passengers and/or employees with respect and dignity and ensuring the
needs of passengers or employees with disabilities are accommodated and/or addressed (within
the area of responsibility) in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code and Related
Orders so that they can fully benefit as a service-provider and an employer • Performs related duties as assigned

Summary
Procurement and Category Management Department is looking to fulfill one position on a
temporary basis. Selected candidate will be working closely with existing contract
administrators and category manager as well as working with vendors and clients.
