Our client is delivering value to its customers by reducing environmental footprint, stabilizing product quality, increasing productivity and reducing operational costs. The company partnered with Randstad in the search for a Product Manager – Lithium Processing specifically in Lithium Extraction.

    Reports: President
    Location- Pickering, ON
    Salary Depends On Experience + Bonus Benefits Etc.

    Responsibilities
    In this position, you will be responsible for product management activities related to Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) and the overall Lithium Processing market.

    What You Will Do In Your Role:

    Define Process and Product Development, and R&D priorities based on market engagement. Initiate and drive projects to optimize product performance, tailor solutions
    to market needs, lower cost, or develop new products
    Responsible for the commercial launch of new products. This includes coordinating field testing, providing field testing feedback to the development team, managing all steps of commercialization with key customers, etc.
    Coordinate / project manage cross-functional teams to drive internal improvement projects
    Customer Visits with Sales: Travel approximately 25% of the time meeting new customers and giving product presentations. Attend conferences, write and present
    papers, and chair/lead key strategic committee meetings
    Gather and analyze competitive intelligence to understand relative strengths and weaknesses of KSS products
    Marketing/sales support for all products related to Lithium Processing market
    Prepare and maintain product differentiator and value proposition presentations
    Review global market size and growth, market drivers, regional dynamics, and market trends
    Visit existing installations to gather voices of customer on KSS and competitive product performance
    Contribute to margin enhancement by supporting value engineering, pricing, procurement, quality, and manufacturing initiatives
    Demonstrate strong communication skills both orally and written with customers and internal colleagues
    Lead presentations and discussions of technical information in a clear and concise manner to leadership, colleagues, and external customers
    Maintain extensive knowledge of business and market needs to formulate and execute commercialization plans

    Qualifications
    Requirements:
    Knowledge of separation technologies used in lithium processing, especially direct lithium extraction, or similar minerals processing applications
    Experience with ion exchange, adsorption, membrane and thermal separations processes and products
    Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical or Process Engineering.
    Project management skills and experience

    What Will Put You Ahead:
    Five (5) years or more of experience with industrial separations technologies including ion exchange, adsorption, membranes, and/or evaporators and crystallizers
    More than five (5) years of experience in product management or application engineering role with a company preferably focused on separation technology
