If you have experience in any of the following: working as an assembler, working on a line in a factory, machine operator, and /or working with metal, this could be an opportunity for you. This role is in a manufacturing setting, which starts as a contract position with intentions to go permanent.

Work the day shift, Monday to Friday with a long standing local business with excellent employee relations.
Must have experience in a manufacturing environment, and ability to read 'blueprints' is a big asset. Willingness to work Monday to Friday is also a must, as is currently living in Durham Region or east GTA (Ontario, Canada).

Responsibilities
What YOU will be doing as a Production Assembler in Ajax:
- Pulling cables through tubing via a winch, cutting hose to specific lengths (blueprints), and assembling
- Soft soldering
- Pressure testing with provided equipment
- Sand blasting and painting product will be part of the role
- Some lifting up to 60lb
Qualifications
What YOU bring to the role of Production Assembler in Ajax:
- Ability to read blueprints
- Comfortable lifting up to 60lb
- Able to use power tools such a grinder, power drill, cut off saw, etc.
- Knowledge and ability in using hand tools
- You have your own basic hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, hammer)
- Attendance is very important and our client will hire permanently those with A1 attendance
