Responsibilities
· Responsible for the scheduling of all production. Including the timely release, distribution and closing of work orders. This is to be done with particular attention to quantities actually produced and actual component consumption. Identify and manage production priorities.
· Develop a plan for all materials required to meet these production schedules and release the purchase requisitions for all sub-contracted processes. Follow up to ensure delivery of materials.
· Responsible for master data, structuring parts, BOM’s and routings in SAP per customer and business requirements
· Generate and participate in cycle counting activities.
· Responsible for accurate inventory. Investigate reported discrepancies and make the proper adjustments when required.
· Manage the subcontracted processes with a keen focus on part accuracy both the leaving and coming back to the plant.
· Liaise with Engineering for product information and changes and Customer Service to ensure delivery dates are met
· Work with Production Manager to ensure that subassembly items are being made according to the schedule and plan
Qualifications
· 2 Year – College Diploma or Equivalent
· 2+ years of relevant experience
· SAP knowledge is an asset
· Competent Understanding of MRP
· Strong Organizational Skills
· Mechanical Aptitude
· Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings
· Computer skills in Excel
