Role: Machine Operator - Fabricator - General Labour
Salary: $20-$23/HR
Employment: Full-time, Permanent hire
Location: Ambassador Drive, Mississauga
Shift Schedule:
7:00 am - 3:30 pm (Monday to Friday)

Responsibilities
Operate Fabrication Shop and Machine Shop machinery / equipment.
Review job specifications
Review drawings
Monitor quality during cutting and notify supervisor of any quality or mechanical problems.
Record accurate times on the router for each job performed.
Bundle and tag all usable centers with traceability information as required in the work instruction.
Follow work instructions for each area of the Fabrication Department.
Qualifications
Must have the willingness to learn
High School Diploma or GED: required.
6+ months of experience in press operation / hand fabricating: preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude
Experience in AutoCAD or other computer-aided design software such as Solidworks an Asset
