This company is located near Courtney Park and Kennedy in the Mississauga area.     MINIMAL EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED!

    Industry: Solar Energy Manufacturing and Distributing Company

    Job Position: General Labour

    Employment type: Permanent, Full-time position, Direct Hire.

    Location: Near Courtney Park Drive and Kennedy

    Available Shifts: 12 hour Rotating shifts available a good pay.

    Day Shift
    Monday - Sunday (7:00 am – 7:00 pm)
    Pay rate: $ 17.50 /hr

    Nights Shift
    Monday - Thursday (7:00 pm – 7:00 am)
    Pay rate - $ 18.50 /hr

    Sample week schedule:
    Week 1: Mon to Tue (2 working days) - Wed to Thu (2 days off) - Fri to Sun (3 working days )
    Week 2: Mon to Tue (2 days off) - Wed to Fri (3 working days ) - Sat to Sun (2 days off)

    MINIMAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!

    Responsibilities
    Duties of a General Labour production worker:
    - Picking, packaging and inspection of products
    - Operate automatic and semi-automatic machines
    - Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
    - Perform basic electrical and continuity testing
    - Loading work materials into soldering machines
    - Read and follow production orders and schematics for set-up
    - Mechanically aligned - experience in machine operation or assembly is an asset
    - Will use cutting tools and hand and power tools for simple assembly (tweezers, screwdrivers, solders, etc.)
    - Inspecting parts to ensure no defects and surface finish is acceptable to industry standards
    - Lifting up to 30lbs
    - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
    - Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
    - Ability to multi-task.
    - Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications
    - Fantastic attitude and a great work ethic
    - Must be able to commit to a long term role
    - Should be available to start immediately
    - Must have 6 months - 1 yr industrial experience (warehousing, production or manufacturing)
    - Great hand/eye coordination
    - Ability to lift at least 25 lbs - 30 lbs or more repetitively.
    - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
