Do you have experience of production planning? Are you looking for a new opportunity at a great company? Then don’t miss out on this contract position with strong possibility of going permanent. Randstad is now looking for a Production Planner for a client in the Greater Victoria area.


• $25-$30 per hour depending on experience
• Weekly pay
• Starting as soon as possible
• Contract position going up to a year.
• Strong possibility of becoming permanent


• Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products
• Plan and prioritize operations
• Determine manpower and raw materials needed to cover production demand
• Coordinate raw material purchases and scheduled with procurement staff
• Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
• Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)
• Collaborate with production, quality control, warehouse and other staff
• Scheduling in-bound and out-bound shipments
• Maintaining of KPIs related to inventory and delivery performance


• High School diploma or equivalent
• B.S. Degree Supply Chain management is an asset
• APICS Certification is an asset
• Minimum 3 years experience
• Experience in inventory management
• Experience in Warehouse Space Utilization
• Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing Methodologies
