In this role you will have an impact on…

•Prepare production schedule based on requirements, raw material availability and production capacity both incoming and outgoing
•Plan, organize and control daily/weekly production schedules
•Ensure inventory levels in warehouse, production, and distribution operations result in excellent customer service levels
•Ability to factor in several constraints: shelf life maximization, frequency order patterns, and storage limitations
•Identify schedule and planning concerns and opportunities
•Support R & D
•Continuously assess the production schedule and the product being produced and react in a timely manner


You’re an ideal candidate for this role because you bring…

•1-5 years experience in a meat processing plant environment is highly desirable
•Diploma or certificate in manufacturing production scheduling or supply chain management
•Prior planning and scheduling experience an asset
•Proficient in Excel
•High level of professionalism with a strategic mindset
•Agile and comfortable adjusting to ever changing priorities
•Resourceful and able to think through a problem and knows where to find the answers
•Strong people-skills and a passion to build and maintain strong relationships
•Strong strategic thinking, negotiating, planning, organizational, and time management skills an asset
