Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Production Scheduler will collaborate with various teams to create and maintain a production schedule that meets all production outputs efficiently. The Production Scheduler will ensure proper allocation of work, equipment, material, and manpower to achieve the production schedule. Additionally, the Production Scheduler will monitor material inventories, track production progress, and adapt schedules as needed to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities
•Create, analyze, and monitor production schedules in alignment with sales forecasts, plant and employee capacity, and new business opportunities.
•Schedule production processes and departmental activities related to material, employee, and equipment availability.
•Identify and report plant capacity constraints and review production specifications.
•Resolve production, manpower, and material shortage problems quickly.
•Implement process improvements in collaboration with the manager and other cross-functional teams.
•Ensure pre-arrangement of materials and equipment for production.
•Develop and maintain scheduling parameters by coordinating with production, purchasing, procurement, and finance teams.
•Order and stock adequate materials to avoid future shortages.
•Generate reports for decision-making purposes as required.
•Review and establish blending instructions.
•Manage raw material and finished goods inventories.
Qualifications
•3-5 years of work experience as a Production Scheduler.
•Post-secondary education in a related field such as business, operations, materials management, or engineering.
•An APICS certification or designation is an asset.
•Previous experience working with MRP is an asset.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Excellent analytical, leadership, and planning skills.
•Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
•Proficient with Microsoft Office.
•Attention to detail.
•Excellent organization and time management skills.
•Good work ethics as a team and independently.
