Production Solutions Specialist

The EC (Energy Components) Specialist will be required to communicate effectively across multiple functional teams to align stakeholders on all matters affecting field data capture.

Production Operations Data Support
• Supporting end users in Production Operations with daily data input, allocation and verification processes
• Troubleshooting erroneous or inconsistent data with end users and escalating where required
• Performing manual data corrections and backfills within scope

EC System Configuration – Measurement SME
• Review metering diagrams and provide guidance to IT delivery team to ensure new facilities, pads, gathering systems are configured accurately in the system of record
• Participate in Operational Readiness Reviews to ensure system is properly configured on-time and prior to commissioning new and MOC projects (new assets, routing updates, artificial lift activations etc.)
• Advise on system configuration for special projects

Production Data Quality Verification
• Participate in month-end data quality reviews with the Production Accounting and Production Engineering teams
• Perform data corrections within scope to ensure month-end reporting process is completed on time and accurate
• Administer the Prior Period Amendment process

System Maintenance, Enhancements and Updates
• Gather requirements from end users and key stakeholders and translate into actionable system updates
• Liase with IT resources to add requested enhancements to project backlogs & support enhancement delivery
• Accountable for backlog prioritization for requested enhancements
• Perform UAT on all system updates and enhancements (liaising with stakeholders when required)
• Identify and notify IT of critical system outages requiring immediate action

Automation & Controls
• Serve as the Production Operations point of contact for Automation, Electrical & Measurement team on technical issues affecting production data (SCADA, PI, Meter issues etc.)
• Advisor for Production Data Automation projects as the Energy Components SME
