    Your challenge!

    As the Production Supervisor(night shift), you ensure the optimal management of occupational health and safety, target production sequence and product compliance with quality standards. You closely monitor operating parameters and, if necessary, develop an action plan to close performance gaps or resolve anomalies. You also build a mobilized and competent team and support their production efforts and professional development while nurturing a culture of continuous improvement.

    This is a night shift - 5pm to 5am

    Your responsibilities
    • Meet production standards while ensuring safety standards are met
    • Engage and develop all your employees
    • Carry out workforce planning and ensure approval of hours worked
    • Ensure the accuracy of operation parameters and provide MRP values
    • Coordinate follow-up meetings to ensure targets are met and employees are held accountable
    • Carry out monthly OHS audits as well as accident investigations and analyses 
    • Support your scheduler in establishing the optimal sequence for product production within the time frame established on the basis of business rules
    • Ensure the management of transactions in the computerized operations management system in accordance with business rules
    • Confirm and resolve anomalies in the computerized operations management system
    Your background and strengths
    • Bachelor or College degree in a relevant field is an asset 
    • 5+ years of experience in supervision in the manufacturing sector
    • Knowledge of lean manufacturing is considered an asset
    • Leadership and a collaborative spirit that inspire and engage teams to achieve excellence
    • Ability to act and react quickly while working on a number of files at the same time
    • Leadership to cultivate a culture of OHS accountability
