Working closely with up to 20 direct reports
Hosting meetings, delegating, mitigating, and supporting staff
Ensuring work is performed safely and in compliance with policies and procedures
Scheduling maintenance activities
Completing reports, training, communicating between departments
Leading by example and taking ownership of the daily operations
Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Supervisory experience within chemical, food, or pharmaceutical industries
Team player who takes pride in their work
Understanding or experience within a manufacturing/production environment
Lean manufacturing and 5S knowledge or experience is an asset
Proficient in working with MS Office applications
