Role: Production Technician

Schedule: Friday & Saturday
Shift times: 7:30 PM - 7:30 AM
Location: Annacis Island, BC
Payrate: $20.50/hr
*Must be legally permitted to work full-time in BC, Canada
*Must be punctual, dependable, and can commit to the entire 6-week period without any scheduling conflicts
Your main responsibility is to assist the packing line operators including quality control.

Responsibilities
* Ensure product meets customer requirements prior to bagging
* Ensure that all product is conveyed, sliced, forked grouped, and packaged properly
* Rebag product manually when needed
* Clear jam-ups at the forkers, and conveyors when needed
* Assist Bagger Operator and Packager as required
* Maintain an organized, sanitized, and clean working areas at all times
* Ensure bags have the correct labelling
* Tray or box product for shipment
* Assist Packaging area helper in stacking boxes or trays on pallets (skids) or carts when needed
* Maintain proper documentation and reporting including verbal and written
Qualifications
* Punctual, dependable, and can commit to the entire 6-week period without any scheduling conflicts
* Excellent time management and organization skills
* Good communication skills including reading & writing
* Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
* No physical limitations and comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs
* Familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)
* Comfortable wearing PPE including hair/beard nets, and no jewelry allowed
* Steel toed boots required; all other PPE supplied
* Previous experience in manufacturing/production setting is an asset
