job description

Are you looking for an indoor job, where you can do a variety of tasks every day? Do you like working with different types of machines in a production environment? We may have the position for you!

Randstad is looking for a production worker/labourer for a facility in Acheson to start immediately! In this role, you will work with a large team of dedicated employees, most of who focus on specific machines. Your job will be to assist the machine operators in the production of materials. Some of the work can be fast paced, while other aspects can be on the more physical side - the most important thing in every area of the facility is taking instruction well and being as accurate as you can be.

This is an extremely safe environment, so proper PPE is essential, but all you need to worry about is your steel toed boots/shoes, and the rest will be provided for you on site.

If you love some variety in your work, you will also get it in the form of shifts - every employee will rotate every two weeks, meaning for 2 weeks you will be on days, then 2 weeks on afternoons, and 2 weeks on nights. This keeps it fair for everyone, and always keeps you working with the same crew.

Advantages
$17.20 per hour - $17.80 per hour, depending on shift
Great team environment
Ability to learn new machinery and processes
Weekly pay through Randstad
Free parking on site

Qualifications
Steel toed boots are required
Must have reliable transportation, as this role is in Acheson so not accessible by transit
Minimum 6 months of labour or related experience
