Responsibilities
Program Strategy & Planning: Define the project approach and develop effective plans. Engage cross-functional stakeholders (Technology, Business, 3rd party vendors) to confirm problems, expected outcomes, and key deliverables.
Integration Leadership: Spearhead the Cormark business integration initiatives, ensuring seamless alignment of technology, data infrastructure, and operating models.
Program Control: Assign and monitor deliverables, tasks, and activities. Manage and report on budget/cost, status, risk, and success criteria to senior stakeholders.
Risk & Issue Management: Proactively anticipate and effectively manage risks and issues across the program lifecycle, collaborating with other program managers on cross-project dependencies.
Stakeholder Management: Ensure optimal communications within and across teams. Maintain strong, positive relationships with all project stakeholders to ensure alignment and shared vision.
Qualifications
Required Experience and Expertise
Functional & Program Management
10+ years of progressive experience in IT project and program management.
3+ years leading cross-functional teams through the successful delivery of large-scale, complex initiatives.
Proven experience in Capital Markets technology implementations, including:
Trading Solutions and Systems.
Custodian, Clearing, and Settlement infrastructure.
Fixed Income, Currency, and Commodities (FICC) products and capabilities.
Risk measurement frameworks and tools, and subsidiary/business integration projects.
Technical & Transformational Acumen
Previous experience leading programs in the Capital Markets space is highly preferred.
Familiarity with trading systems, clearing and settlement infrastructure, portfolio management systems, and an understanding of SaaS operating models are highly desirable.
