Responsibilities
Oversee cross-functional delivery of projects covering a range of teams and systems
Working alongside the project delivery teams that will help you gather requirements, as well as identify, develop, test, and release new solutions
Develop strong partnerships with key stakeholder groups across the business, technology, and vendors
Identify and lead efforts to remedy risks and issues, establishing effective paths to resolution
Develop and execute change management plans to ensure successful deployment of projects and engage with stakeholders to track status/issues.
Build out integrated project plans and drive delivery of tasks with different project teams
Remove program obstacles and ensure items are actioned appropriately and in a timely manner
Assess business impact, influence project timelines, and drive accountability in a fast-paced environment strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Communicate status and issues in a concise, accurate, and professional manner that is mindful of an executive audience for consumption
Qualifications
Post-Secondary education in Business, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of work/academic experience
6+ years of experience in large scale program delivery, preferably in retail, wholesale, or regulated industries (banking, telecom, public sector)
Knowledge of program management, business architecture, release management, and product management concepts and frameworks
Knowledge of the retail/wholesale operating model and high-level business processes
Knowledge of the framework for the legalization and regulation of cannabis in Ontario
Experience with the procurement process for Crown Corporations/Public Entities in Ontario
Experience in consulting controls functions such as Privacy, Legal, Cyber Security, etc. as a part of the project delivery
Experience in leading the development of RFPs and Business Case financials
Experience managing the program lifecycle from project inception to release and change management
Experience managing reporting and tracking for multiple initiatives across different stakeholder groups simultaneously
Experience collaborating with Marketing, Merchandising, Customer Service, Account Management, and E-Commerce business functions
Experience in managing other Project Managers as part of the overall program delivery team
Familiarity with commercial enterprise solutions such as Dynamics 365, Shopify, PIM/Product Onboarding, and Order Management Solutions etc.
Experience leading programs requiring delivery across multiple workstreams and platform teams in parallel
Experience leading cross-functional development teams comprising of Business Analysts, System Analysts, UI/UX Designers, Developers, and QA Analysts.
Experience leveraging Waterfall (SDLC) and/or Agile (Scrum/Kanban) development methodologies
Experience in building out integrated project plans to compile activities and milestones
Experience with the Atlassian Suite (Jira & Confluence), Roadmunk, and Microsoft Office tools used in day-to-day activities
Experience in creating product roadmaps including the prioritization and timelines for new features
Experience leading business transformation initiatives and managing change across people, process, tools
Demonstrated ability to report into c-level executive sponsors in Merchandising & E-Commerce (CMO or CDO), Store Partnerships (VP Wholesale), and IT (CIO) capacities for presentations, workshops, and updates
Ability to work in a collaborative environment across different levels and functions
Experience in vendor management and collaborating with external stakeholders

Summary
The Commercial Program Manager will be operating out of the IT team to oversee the delivery of business transformation projects as they pertain to the Commercial pillar of OCS. You will use your strong technical knowledge and project management experience will enable you to drive and influence the delivery of these projects that span multiple cross-functional teams. We are looking for a candidate that can own the obstacles and challenges that come with complex delivery by adding structure and leadership. The Commercial pillar is key to evolving the retail cannabis landscape in Ontario, and you will be a crucial part for ensuring the OCS delivers a first-class experience to its customers
