Purpose:
We are seeking a Programmer Analyst Intern to join our team. As a Programmer Analyst, you will
perform programming duties as well as system analysis of our information systems and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
 Work with users from all departments of the organization to gather, document and analyse
requirements.
 Design, develop, test, implement and support systems, programs and integrations.
 Train and communicate with users with regards to changes to systems, programs and
integrations.
 Learn our business processes and functions to better research, evaluate and recommend
solutions to meet user’s needs.
 Communicate and work with software vendors for new functionality and support.
 Make recommendations to improve current practices and procedures.
 24/7 system support may be required.
Qualifications
 A University degree in Computer Science is preferred.
 1 to 3 years of recent programmer analyst experience within a manufacturing environment or
related experience with working knowledge of computer programming.
 Strong proficiency with SQL (PL/SQL and Transact-SQL), VBA, and Crystal Reports.
 Strong proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office Suite with advanced knowledge of Microsoft
Excel.
 Demonstrate exceptional attention to details.
 Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
 Works well independently and in a team environment.
 Positive attitude and ability to easily adapt to varying work challenges.
 Sense of urgency, ability to organize, multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a
fast-paced environment.
 Ability to make sound decisions independently.
 Excellent written and oral communication skills.
 Excellent problem-solving skills.
