Our client in the Brantford area has partnered with Randstad Engineering in their recruit for a Project Coordinator/Designer to join their team!

In this role, specific responsibilities would include:
- Use standard designs and bills of materials as the framework to design, coordinate and schedule projects from confirmation drawings to closeout
- Work independently or with a small team to analysis designs, design risks, scheduling, and construction.
- Modify standard parts and create custom designed components and structures to suit project design requirements.
- Create and manage complete project layouts for design and installation purposes.
- Create shop drawings for internal and external manufacturing
- Liaise with customers, third party engineers, local authorities, contractors and internal employees to obtain information, design details to create, manage and meet project timelines
- Liaison with city officials, engineers and architects regarding project permitting, and zoning when required. Formal correspondence with clients and architect will be required.
- When required maintain critical project management information like change orders, design changes, material substitutions, payment breakouts and requests
- Occasionally travel to site (North America and International) when required to meet clients and associates pre and post building design and construction

As a qualified candidate, you meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of mechanical design experience
- Project Coordination experience
- Experience working with Inventor or SolidWorks
- Post secondary education in related field
- Able to travel Internationally when required
