    Our large Federal Government client, located in Ottawa, requires the services of an Project Coordinator - Level ! for a very stable 2.5 year contract opportunity! The position will start in late October and the contract will run (with options exercised) till March 2025! The bulk of the work can be done off-site but there may be a requirement for the successful candidate to preform some work on the client site (downtown Ottawa). Therefore local candidate swill be given first consideration.

    Our client requires a Project Coordinator who can manage the complexities related to the management of project information, the impact of project dependencies and the
    development of decision making material for the project governance processes.

    Tasks:

    The tasks & responsibilities of the PC1 will include but are not limited to:

    - Providing project administrative support services such as routing enquiries,
    preparing reports and correspondence to the director and the team;
    = Creating and maintaining project management artefacts to communicate critical
    paths, timelines, progress and highlight risks;
    - Organizing the calendar of activities including the scheduling of meetings and
    agendas, minutes of meetings, and documenting decisions from the various
    stakeholders;
    - Monitoring project-related correspondence/documents and flagging requests
    from stakeholders or issues (sensitive and urgent) that require immediate
    attention;
    - Providing information management support by coordinating the gathering and
    processing of documentation related to the project and managing version control;
    - Ensuring workloads and associated tasks are tracked and completed by the
    requested deadline, their status is communicated to the appropriate audience,
    and outstanding issues/tasks are followed-up on;
    = Identifying and monitoring potential delays and communicating them to the team;
    Researching information, conducting detailed analyses, and preparing supporting
    documentation as required;
    - Monitoring and maintaining project plans and project management artefacts;

    To be considered candidates must have:

    - Current valid Federal Government clearance at the Reliability level (or the ability to receive it......we can assist you with this quickly)
    = Must have two (2) years of experience within the last ten (10) years in an office administration field
    - Must have two (2) years of experience within the last ten(10) years providing clerical support to a project team with
    more than twenty (20) people
    - Must have two (2) years of experience within the last ten(10) years in organizing, preparing and documenting project
    status meetings
    
