Responsibilities
As a Project Coordinator, your duties will include but not be limited to:
●Supporting effective management of projects to deliver on time, on cost and according to client quality expectations
●Building/demonstrating strong understanding of clients project management standards across the PM lifecycle
●Assisting Project Managers and Program Director in preparing cost/benefit analyses and business case diligence
●Demonstrating firm dedication to the Project Manager & Program Director goals and objectives relative to the project
●Working on developing of project plans that effectively align scope, time, cost, quality, resources, risk, communication and procurement in a manner that enables highly coordinated execution and control with the project managers
●Following up on appropriate risk management practices throughout the project lifecycle with project manager and program director
●Ensuring that change, acceptance and approval management is proactive and effective on all projects
●Escalating project issues and risks that require Project Manager and Program Director attention
●Delivering project status reporting updates on project accomplishments against milestones
●Coordinating Project and Program meetings as requested
●Managing the Central Database Repository for all Projects within scope of the Project/Program assigned
●Demonstrating interest in and accountability for personal and professional development
●Working closely with other Project Personnel and Administrative staff to ensure continuity of expectations and deliverables
Qualifications
●Requires 2+ years coordination/administration experience, supporting medium to large technical/business projects environments
●Experience in a Lotus Notes environment
●Requires strong interpersonal, communication, motivational, organizational and planning skills
●Knowledge of project techniques, tools and methodologies with experience in project management
●Demonstrated ability to work effectively with technical, business and project management people to proactively manage project issues logs, risk logs, status reports, etc- High level of skill using Lotus Notes, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite of Products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio)
