An individual who can look at gaps in process standards and determine how to refine to save money and work more efficiently.
You will need excellent communication skills connect with multiple groups and question their methodology to find a more efficient way of working.
Required:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
•Demonstrated technical competence in at least one of the engineering disciplines, with the ability to overview and/or practice in other disciplines.
•10+ years of progressively complex detailed design and/or project management experience.
•Depending on technical education, accreditations and competency development in accordance with career ladders, an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•General understanding of pipeline and terminal operations
•Excellent oral and written communications skills
•Software experience with: MS Office Suite, Oracle or SAP
•Problem solving, decision-making, organization, planning and leadership skills
•Collaborative, team- and service-oriented work style
•Motivated self-starter who works well independently in a fast-paced team environment
•Valid driver’s license
Preferred:
•Exposure to more than one Engineering discipline
•PMP Certification
•Six sigma training
This position is responsible for leading initiatives and performing analysis on Enbridge’s dig program. The focus is to take assigned initiatives, determine the scope and potential cost savings, and take those initiatives to conclusion (directly and indirectly through the support of other departments) leading to changes and improvements that lowers the field construction cost and internal cost of managing the program.
This can range from analyzing all aspects of field welding, NDE, coating application and removal, excavation, backfill, etc., and determining areas for production improvements, cost reductions, changes in processes.
